How much does a 3D render cost in Spain?
In Spain, a professional interior render costs €200 to €450 per image and a house exterior €300 to €1,200, based on the rates Spanish studios publish in 2026. Budget providers charge €50 to €150, and AI renders made from photos sit below that. Spanish rates are generally lower than North American ones.
The range is wide because “a render” is not a standard product. A cheap image usually reuses an existing model or library furniture and includes one round of changes. An expensive one includes bespoke modelling, art direction, carefully lit scenes and post-production.
A note for British readers: in the UK, “rendering” also means plastering a wall. This guide is about 3D images of a property, also called CGI or 3D visualisation. The tables below list published rates from studios working in Spain, each linked to the page that publishes it. They are third-party prices, not ours; ours are on the pricing page.
What do Spanish studios charge per image?
Per-image rates checked on 28 September 2026. Where a studio gives a range, we quote the range; where it gives a “from” price, we quote that.
| Type of image | Published price | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Interior, one room | €200 to €450 | ararenders.com, 13 Jun 2026 |
| Simple residential interior | €200 to €400 | estudio3dbs.com, 2026 |
| Highly detailed 4K interior | €400 to €800 | estudio3dbs.com, 2026 |
| Interior, reference rate | From €246 + VAT | proyecto3dvalencia.es |
| Interior, per-room studio rate | From €350 per room | studiomkdesign.es |
| Simple detached house exterior | €300 to €600 | estudio3dbs.com, 2026 |
| Exterior with landscaping and pool | €600 to €1,200 | estudio3dbs.com, 2026 |
| Exterior, reference rate | From €396 + VAT | proyecto3dvalencia.es |
| Still exterior, most studios in Spain | €150 to €600 | maverickframe.com, 24 Jul 2026 |
| Aerial or drone-style view | €500 to €1,500 | estudio3dbs.com, 2026 |
| Budget interior | €50 to €150 + VAT (estimate) | renders.es |
| Budget exterior | €70 to €200 (estimate) | renders.es |
| AI renders from photos, up to 6 rooms | €129 ex VAT per property | vistastudiodesign.com |
Unless the source says “+ VAT” or “ex VAT”, the page does not state whether Spanish VAT (21%) is included, so ask before comparing. renders.es describes its own prices as estimates. AI renders start from photos of a home that already exists and do not build a 3D model.

How much does a whole home or a development cost?
For several views, most studios quote a package. These are the published ranges for whole homes, developments, tours and animations, with our own rates alongside for context.
| Project | Published price | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Whole home, 2 to 4 views | €400 to €1,000 | ararenders.com |
| Detached house, 2 exteriors and 3 interiors | About €1,400 + VAT | proyecto3dvalencia.es |
| 6 budget renders | €300 to €500 (estimate) | renders.es |
| Starter pack, 2 rooms | From €850 | studiomkdesign.es |
| Development, basic package of 3 to 5 renders | €800 to €2,000 | estudio3dbs.com |
| Development, 8 to 12 views | €1,500 to €4,000 and €2,000 to €6,000 | ararenders.com and estudio3dbs.com |
| Computer-generated 360° tour | €700 to €2,500 and €800 to €2,500 | estudio3dbs.com and ararenders.com |
| 30 to 60 second animated walkthrough | €1,500 to €5,000 | estudio3dbs.com and ararenders.com |
| Our complete 3D model: 6 renders, viewer and AR | From €490 + VAT | Our pricing |
| Our new-build development package: 3 unit types, 12 renders | From €1,490 + VAT | Our pricing |
Where two studios publish different ranges for the same job, we show both. Our packages are not a like-for-like match for an image package: they include the 3D model, the web viewer and augmented reality.
How do Spanish prices compare with North America?
Spain is noticeably cheaper. A North American price guide updated in April 2026 puts 3D renders at US$300 to US$3,000 per image, interiors at US$600 to US$1,500 and exteriors at US$800 to US$2,500. The Spanish equivalents above are €200 to €450 and €300 to €1,200. For foreign agencies and developers, that gap is a real saving.
The comparison comes from RealSpace 3D’s rendering pricing guide, written for the North American market. Currency and scope differ, so treat it as an order of magnitude rather than an exchange-rate calculation.
Why does one render cost €80 and another €800?
Because the price mostly reflects how much has to be modelled, the level of detail and the revisions included, not the pixels in the image. A cheap render usually reuses an existing model or furniture library. An expensive one includes bespoke modelling from the plan, art direction, careful lighting and post-production.
| Factor | What changes | Effect on price |
|---|---|---|
| Modelling | Whether the studio starts from your 3D model or builds one from the plan | The most expensive part of the first render; further views of the same model cost less |
| Interior or exterior | An exterior adds façade, roof, plot and planting | A simple exterior is published at €300 to €600, above a simple interior |
| Surroundings | Pool, landscaping, views, people | With elaborate surroundings, exteriors rise to €600 to €1,200 |
| Detail and resolution | Textures, bespoke furniture, 4K output | A highly detailed 4K interior is published at €400 to €800, twice a simple one |
| Number of views | Each camera is an image to frame, light and retouch | Packages lower the price per image |
| Turnaround | A rush job that jumps the queue | A 20% to 40% surcharge, according to ararenders.com |
| Revisions | Rounds of changes included | An extra revision costs €60 at studiomkdesign.es, for example |
| Starting information | Dimensioned plan, sketch or photos only | Without dimensions, measurements are estimated and rework is more likely |
| Usage rights | Website, portals, brochure, press or billboards | Ask whether the price covers every use you have in mind |
Is 3D rendering priced per square metre?
Rarely. Studios in Spain price renders per image or per package, not per square metre. Floor area matters indirectly, because a bigger home has more rooms to model and furnish. Area bands do appear in 3D floor plans and in complete 3D models of a home, where the whole property is built.
At Home View 3D, for example, the complete 3D model costs €490 + VAT up to 150 m² and €690 + VAT up to 300 m², with 6 renders included. If what you need is the layout in 3D, the market ranges are in what a 3D floor plan costs in Spain; for a whole-home model, our page on how we build a model from the plan explains what goes into it.
What would three typical jobs cost?
Three worked examples using the published rates above. They help you frame a budget; they are not a quote.
| Job | Studio rates | Budget rates | With Home View 3D |
|---|---|---|---|
| Empty 3-bedroom flat, 6 interiors | €1,200 to €2,700 (6 × €200 to €450) | €300 to €900 (6 × €50 to €150) | €490 + VAT: 6 renders, viewer and AR |
| Detached house, 2 exteriors and 3 interiors | About €1,400 + VAT | €290 to €850 (2 × €70 to €200 and 3 × €50 to €150) | Bespoke quote: the façade needs elevations |
| Development with 3 unit types and 12 views | €1,500 to €6,000 | €600 to €1,800 (12 × €50 to €150) | €1,490 + VAT: 12 renders, viewer and AR |
Our model starts from the floor plan, so it renders interiors and terraces. A full façade with its surroundings needs elevation drawings and more modelling, so we quote it separately. If all you need is one exterior with a pool for a billboard, an exterior specialist is a sensible choice.
How do you get comparable 3D rendering quotes?
Ask every studio the same questions. With this list, two quotes can sit side by side.
- How many images, and which: interior, exterior or aerial.
- Whether modelling from your plan is included or they need an existing model.
- Output resolution (4K or higher) and file format.
- Rounds of changes included and the price of each extra round.
- Turnaround in working days and any rush surcharge.
- Usage rights: website, portals, brochures, press and signage.
- Whether the price includes Spanish VAT.
- What you get besides images: the 3D model, a web viewer or augmented reality files.
- What they need from you: a dimensioned plan, a reference measurement, finish photos or a furniture style.
- Whether images are labelled as virtual for portals and listings.
How much do architects charge for renderings in Spain?
There is no official scale. Since 2009, Spanish professional associations have been barred from publishing indicative fee scales, so each architect sets their own price. When an architect outsources the images to a visualisation studio, the cost follows the ranges in this guide, plus any coordination margin the architect adds.
The ban is in article 14 of Spain’s Professional Associations Act (Ley 2/1974), added by Law 25/2009. That is why private studios’ price guides are now the most useful public reference.
Where does our price fit?
Home View 3D does not sell one-off renders: we build the 3D model of the home and the renders come from it. The complete 3D model costs from €490 + VAT and includes 6 renders in 4K, the web viewer and augmented reality, in 3 to 5 working days. Each extra render from the same model costs €90 + VAT.
Counting images alone, the price per render lands at the lower end of the tables, and the model, viewer and AR come with it. That is not about cutting corners: walls and openings are built with Python scripts in Blender and materials are procedural PBR, so re-rendering a view or moving a partition takes minutes, not hours.
See it in our demonstration case: a Costa del Sol villa modelled from a single plan, with 12 rooms; its 13 images (6 aerial views, 4 eye-level views, both plans and the social media image) were computed in about 21 minutes in total. If you only need the layout, a 3D floor plan costs €149 + VAT per floor.
Frequently asked questions
How much should a 3D rendering cost?
In Spain in 2026, a 3D rendering should cost €200 to €450 per interior image and €300 to €1,200 per house exterior at a professional studio, according to published rates. Budget services charge €50 to €150 and development packages of 8 to 12 views €1,500 to €6,000. At Home View 3D, 6 renders are included in the complete 3D model from €490 + VAT.
How much does a 3D model of a home cost?
It depends on whether the model is a deliverable or just a step towards the renders. As a line item, budget providers publish 3D modelling at €60 to €250 (renders.es, estimated). At Home View 3D, the furnished 3D model is the main deliverable: with 6 renders, a web viewer and augmented reality it costs from €490 + VAT per home, in 3 to 5 working days.
Are 3D rendering prices in Spain quoted with VAT?
Not always. Some studios state “+ VAT” and others do not say, so always ask before comparing. Standard VAT in Spain is 21%, so a €300 render ex VAT costs €363 with VAT. Every Home View 3D price is published ex VAT: the complete 3D model costs €490 + VAT and each extra render €90 + VAT. EU business clients should confirm how VAT applies to them.
How long does a 3D render take?
Mostly it depends on whether the home has to be modelled. With the model ready, an image takes a day or a few days; built from the plan, it takes days or weeks depending on the studio, and rush jobs carry a 20% to 40% surcharge. Home View 3D delivers the model with 6 renders, a web viewer and augmented reality in 3 to 5 working days.
Why are AI renders so much cheaper?
Because they do not build a 3D model: AI generates a new picture from a photo of the home, in minutes. It works for restyling a flat that already exists, from €129 ex VAT per property at vistastudiodesign.com, but not for off-plan homes with no photos or for views that must match each other. Home View 3D explains the difference in Can AI turn a floor plan into 3D?.
How much does architectural visualisation software cost?
It can cost nothing: Blender, the software Home View 3D works with, is free and open source under the GPL, and can be used commercially. Other render engines are sold by subscription. Either way, software is the small part of the price of architectural visualisation: what you pay for is the time spent modelling, texturing, lighting and checking the scene.
What does a professional 3D render include?
A professional render includes preparing or modelling the home, materials, lighting, framing, computing the image and post-production, with one or two rounds of changes. Always check the resolution and the usage rights. At Home View 3D, every render is delivered in 4K and the complete 3D model includes 2 rounds of changes, from €490 + VAT.
